We develop mining operations across emerging markets with a focus on both environmental and social sustainability, following the framework of the UN SDGs.
We do it by acting at two different levels, one is being our selves producers and miners, and the second is act as a center of knowledge and expertise for traditional miners around us. We help not only in the extraction but also in the distribution and ethical commercialisation of the products of their traditional mines.
As minerals are essential for human well-being and economical growth, it is essential that we treat the earth that provides those minerals with respect and insure our planet’s future.
As stated in the UNDP sourcebook, « Mining can also contribute to sustainable development, particularly to its economic dimension. It can bring fiscal revenues to a country, drive economic growth, create jobs and contribute to infrastructure building. »
